Mission Outreach

SERVICE OUTREACH

Putting the knowledge learned in the classroom into practice is a key part of the learning process at Living Word School of Ministry’s Ministerial Program. Real-life ministry experience is emphasized in addition to regular classroom attendance. This is accomplished through school- sponsored service and outreach activities, mission trips and volunteer work. Students are required to earn service credits by participating in service and outreach activities.

Some of the outreach opportunities for students include:

  • Mission trips to various countries
  • Prison ministry
  • Street witnessing
  • Inner city women and children’s ministry
  • Feeding the homeless
  • Nursing home ministry
  • Hospital visitation
  • Altar and prayer ministry
  • Preaching and teaching

MISSIONS TRIPS

In addition to taking part in local evangelistic outreaches each student is required to join one missions trip oversees. Most trips are 1 week in duration. Past trips include:

  • Haiti
  • Costa-Rica
  • Domican Republic
